One of my favourite jobs ever was to be hired as a technical expert to work on a project where I was in charge of troubleshooting the interfaces. 🙆🏻♀️
My mission was to realign, manage and close out the outstanding interfaces, bridging the gap between 2 other major contractors, and to present suitable solutions to my manager.
Working with two different contractors from two different organisations, and getting them to agree on implementing a new strategy was quite a challenge in itself, but so rewarding.
Once 95% of the interfaces were closed out, the next step was to share my analysis with the senior management, to train a staff member, and to finally hand over what was left to close.
A successful mission, which led me to be noticed and transferred to a different department to take up a new challenge.
