Looking for a job can be draining and quite demoralising. 😟
I remember the time where, after many months of job search, I finally ended up with an interview for my dream job.
Things were quite promising during the interview process, as I was getting closer to the final stage. Until I found out, after weeks of waiting, that I didn’t get the job.
Needless to say you can guess how disappointed I was. It’s always upsetting not getting a job, but the most important thing is to not let it affect you and to bounce back stronger.
Here is what I found worked for me:
- Make a list of your achievements..💥
- Ask for feedback to know where you went wrong.
- Analyse what you loved about the job, and keep looking for something similar that inspires you.
- Make sure you surround yourself with positive friends, who have your back no matter what.
It’s always hard to get a rejection but just know that it only takes one organisation to say “yes”.
